All the pencils in the house are collected and sharpened. Each pencil has its own history, each pencil contributes a line, together they make something new. Making is material and time.

Drawing starts with the pencil. I collected all the pencils in our house, from jars, shelves, pencil case. I sharpened them all and lay them next to each other. Each pencil has a different history, some are short, some are long, some are sharpened at both ends, the text on some has rubbed away. Each pencil contributes one line and one word. They each contribute equally to make something new. 75 pencils make this drawing.)
